I was born and raised in Waterville, Maine, the youngest of four, and a proud product of the Maine vocational school system. I earned a four-year degree in Construction Technology from Central Maine Technical Institute, graduating in 1980. Shortly after graduation, Marden & Wyman Builders was established.

Over the past 45+ years, we’ve had the privilege of working on nearly every type of construction project imaginable, primarily throughout the Boothbay region. From foundational ledge work to fine finish carpentry and custom furniture, our work has always been shaped by the unique challenges and beauty of building along the coast.

I continue to find great satisfaction in nearly every aspect of my work—the people, our crew, the problem-solving, the hands-on nature of the job, and the ever-changing coastal environment. As the years go by, my greatest joy is my family. My wife Jen is my foundation, our two daughters and their spouses live locally, and we are blessed with four grandchildren. I consider myself the luckiest man on Earth.

I joined Marden Builders in 2007, initially working part-time to support the administrative side of the business while continuing my career as a dental hygienist. Over time, my role grew into a full-time position, allowing me to work alongside my husband, Eric, and now our daughter, Lindsey. Being part of a family-run business and contributing to its day-to-day operations has been both rewarding and meaningful.

I was born and raised in Boothbay and am the proud daughter of Eric and Jen. Growing up in the residential construction industry, I developed a deep appreciation for the legacy homes built by the Marden Builders team over the years—homes that reflect the people who live in them and are meant to be enjoyed for generations to come.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail behind each project always stood out to me. While I knew I wanted to be part of the industry, I wasn’t immediately sure in what capacity. That led me to pursue a degree in Business Management from the University of Maine, followed by a Master’s degree with a concentration in Project Management.

I joined the family business full-time in 2019 and haven’t looked back. Today, I’m involved from the very beginning of each project, working as part of the estimating team and collaborating closely with homeowners and designers to bring every vision to life. Throughout construction, I coordinate trades, manage details, and maintain clear communication—and I continue to support clients even after the project is complete.

The greatest pleasure in my work is partnering with people from all walks of life and seeing their ideas and dreams become a reality. My goal is to make the building process feel organized, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish.
